What should children wear to the party (shoes/socks/clothing)?
The kids should be dressed in athletic-wear - jeans can inhibit movement so we suggest soft pants such as track pants or tights. Children will be going upside down, so if a child wears a dress or skirt, shorts should be worn underneath. Children’s hair should be tied back in a ponytail or braids and bare feet will be required on the gym floor.

Does the party include food?
No, we provide all the activities for the children, but not food. If you would like food during the party it will be the parent/guardian's responsibility to provide it. We ask that all food be nut-free as we are a nut-free facility.

What supplies/decorations should I bring?
We suggest bringing tablecloths (for rectangle tables 5x2ft) and decorations that can be placed on a table, if you have signs or wall decorations please be sure to bring sticky tack as tape is prohibited on the walls. Plates, cutlery, napkins and cups or water bottles are suggested as we do not supply these. Please no helium balloons.

Where do we park?
There is free street parking available on Redwood Ave. and paid parking across the street on Gerrard Street East. Do not park in front of the circus or at the side as you will most likely get a ticket.

Café next door, can we pay at the end of the party for parents coffee?
Yes, you are welcome to start a tab if you’d like to pay for parents to have beverages during the party. They take cash only.

Do I tip my coaches?
Tipping is not required. However, if you feel your coaches have done a good job, as they surely will, please feel free to show your appreciation by tipping.

Is there anything else I might want to know?
The Sideshow Café is located right next door to The Circus Academy, where you are welcome to amazing coffee, incredible Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream & an array of baked goods, sandwiches, soup, chips, candies & drinks. Pizza Pizza is located 1 block from The Circus Academy.
